Okrung mangoes are small, oblong fruits from Thailand that are mostly green when ripe, with a hint of red and yellow. They have a very sweet, sugar-cane like flavor and pale yellow flesh with some fiber. Okrung mangoes are a mid-season mango that matures from late June to July. They have good resistance to anthracnose and can fruit in the interior.
Okrung mangoes are traditionally served in Thailand in combination with sticky rice. Some mango lovers say Okrung is the sweetest mango in the world.
