Honey Mango is small, delicate in shape and its skin ripens to a golden yellow. Sometimes called a "champagne" mango, its flesh is velvety, almost fiberless, and has a wafer-thin pit. Mango is an important fruit for many tropical countries and contains enzymes that are useful in tenderizing meat and also act as digestive aids. Fruits are small to medium sized, yellow, with pinkish red when ripe. The flesh is yellow, firm, fiberless and belongs to the classic flavor group, with a pleasant sweet taste and has proven to be very popular. The seed is polyembryonic.
