Spirit of 76 Mango is medium -sized, oval, and has a beautiful red red long before maturity, when it has a yellow background. The flesh is yellow, unfibed, soft and contains one-embryonic seed. The taste is very good, belonging to the classic group, with its own citrus fruit, which matches the taste of peach and stone fruit. In fact, Spirit of 76 is one of the favorite mangoes among customers and we often get positive feedback from those who try it. Unfortunately, they have a poor shelf life and can ripen quickly. The trees are of low to medium height, with a slightly upright but trainable growth habit and an open crown. Deep inland they are too susceptible to anthracnose, but 10 miles inland they perform acceptably. But they are only average producers and have had trouble blooming in warm winters.  The fruits ripen from the end of June to July.
